(Spinal, lower and upper orthosis)
 The need for an orthosis, sometimes called an orthopaedic appliance, brace or splint can arise as a result of many conditions. An orthosis is designed to provide support or apply a corrective force to a body part. At Calmar we offer the professional service of Orthotists who assess and recommend/prescribe the appropriate device. Some orthoses are prefabricated, but most are custom-designed and made using state-of-the-art plastics, foam interace, leather, and metals. Many options are available for proper orthotic management and the most appropriate is chosen through assessment and discussion with the client. |
